Week 3 (19-10-2013)

1.    As promised, we all gathered for the third meeting at the study area of Kolej Kelima(the same venue). 2.    Our group leader, Hadi gave some briefing about the movies (a walk to remember). 3.    During watching the movie, we jotted down some of the important details that may help us in answering the guide questions later. 4.    We very enjoy while watching the movie for a few hours. 5.    The next meeting will also be held at the same venue.

2)What is the story about?    

In Beaufort, North Carolina, a prank on a student goes terribly wrong and puts the student in the hospital. Landon Carter, a popular student with no defined plans for the future, is held responsible and forced to participate in after-school community service activities as punishment, which include starring as the lead in the school play. Also participating in these activities is Jamie Sullivan, the reverend's daughter who has great ambitions and nothing in common with Landon. When Landon decides he wants to take his activities seriously, he asks Jamie for help and begins to spend most of his time with her. But he starts to develop strong feelings for her, something he did not expect to do. The two start a relationship, much to the chagrin of Landon's old popular friends and Jamie's strict reverend father. But when a heart-breaking secret becomes known that puts their relationship to the test, it is then that Landon and Jamie realize the true meaning of love and fate.

3)What group of people would like to watch his film? 


After watching this movie , I feel that this movie is so indescribable and unique.This movie is most certainly not a teen movie.It is a movie for everyone.wherefor the older it gives them something to look back on , whereas for the younger it gives us something to dream of in the future. Besides , I think it is great to watch a movie that makes you cry and smile all at the same time,and yet come out with such a happy feeling. I recommend this movie for everyone.If you haven't seen it , please do watch it


AFTER MOVIE 


1) Do you like this movie? why or why not?  
 

I seriously like the movie . This is due to the way the storyline went on during the movie . In addition ,it has everything: love, romance, action, sorrow, and happiness .It makes you feel like you want to become a better person, and not be so selfish, self-centered, and makes you realize that there more important things in life.Another reason why it's such a great movie is because love can change a person’s character and it shows you are giving a person another chance to make something out of themselves and that makes you feel good .

2) What rating would you give for this movie? 

4 to 5 stars




3)What spoilers would ruin this movie if you told your readers about it? 
The spoiler of the walk to remember movie is if we told the viewer what happen to the Jamie that in the end of the story she die.Also the spoiler for the story is if we tell the viewer about landon will at the end of the day fall in with Jamie.



4) All movies teach a lesson (theme or moral). What did you learn from this movie?  

This movie taught us about the elements of true love and appreciation. After Jamie had died, Landon thanked Jamie because she changed his life from worst become a better person and their love is like the wind that he probably could not see it but, he could feel it. Other than that, Landon took a risk by marrying Jamie even though he knew that Jamie suffered from leukemia.
